What time of year do you run parties and events?

All year round! We have had brilliant feedback following parties held in the depths of winter and on scorching summer’s days – the most important thing is for all guests to wear the right gear to suit the weather conditions!

What happens if it’s raining?

We carry on! Some activities can take place under our bushcraft shelter, whilst outdoor activities still prove enormous fun in the rain (and sometimes even more so!) as long as guests are appropriately dressed. Please see what to wear and our kit list, right.

Sometimes, however, the great British weather can defeat even the hardiest bushcrafter! We will always carry on as long as it is safe to do so, but we risk-assess continually and will halt or postpone a party if we feel it is unsafe to continue. In the event of this happening, we will communicate with you at the earliest opportunity, arranging either to reschedule at your convenience or to issue a refund.

If you decide to cancel the party in poor weather after we have risk-assessed it as safe to go ahead, this will be treated as a cancellation and we will not be able to issue a refund. Please get in touch if you have any questions about this.

Are bushcraft parties and events safe?

Safety is paramount at all of our parties and events. All activities are carried out in a controlled environment and are supervised by a bushcraft leader. The fire is manned responsibly at all times.

Why do all guests need to complete a consent form?

We ask all guests to complete a participant consent form so we are aware of any allergies and medical conditions, dietary requirements, as well as providing us with emergency contact details.

Consent forms need to be returned at least 3 days in advance so that we can take in to account any dietary requirements or medical conditions. You can complete a participant consent form online here.

What should guests wear?

Bushcraft parties and events are held outdoors and therefore we can’t guarantee that guests will stay clean! We recommend wearing old or inexpensive clothes, wellies or old trainers and waterproofs. For further details, see the kit list on the right.

What are the minimum / maximum party numbers?

The minimum number is 10 and the maximum is 20 guests.

If your group is less than 10 or more than 20 please get in touch to see if we can accommodate you.

Is there a booking fee?

To confirm your booking, we require a non-refundable £50 deposit. Full payment is required four weeks before your booking (see below)

How do I pay?

Payment by bank transfer (BACS) is preferred. We also accept cash and cheques but ask that cheques clear before the date of the event.

Full payment is required four weeks before your booking. Late payment may result in the cancellation of your booking, and the loss of your deposit which is non-refundable. Please refer to our booking terms and conditions, below.
